Katsina Installs Extra-Large TV Screens For Masari’s Inauguration
The Katsina State Transition Committee has mounted 10 extra-large television screens at strategic places within the metropolis to transmit the inauguration ceremony of Governor-elect, Aminu Masari, live on Friday.
The Chairman of the Publicity Sub-Committee, Salisu Ado, made the disclosure in Katsina on Thursday during a press briefing on preparations for the swearing-in ceremony.
Mr. Ado said the installation of the giant TV screens was to decongest the venue of the ceremony.
He said the giant screens would enable the public to view the event even without going to the venue of the inauguration.
The chairman said that the ceremony would take place at 10 a.m. at the newly inaugurated 35,000-capacity Karkanda stadium.
He explained that adequate security arrangements had been made to ensure hitch-free ceremony and urged the people of the state to continue to be law abiding during and after the inauguration ceremony.
He also appealed to residents to cooperate with security agents in their efforts of maintaining law and order.
