Yero Begs Kaduna People For Forgiveness As He Dissolves State Executive Council
Kaduna State Governor Muktar Yero today dissolved the State Executive Council. He also terminated the appointment of political appointees in the state, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
He announced the termination of appointments and dissolve of the council during a valedictory session of the executive council in Kaduna. He directed everyone concerned to immediately hand over the affairs of their ministries, parastatals and agencies to their immediate subordinates.
He expressed appreciation to the people of the state for the opportunity given him to serve them and urged them to make all necessary sacrifices that would ensure the success of the incoming administration.
Yero asked for the forgiveness of the people for whatever wrongs he might have committed while in office.
The outgoing commissioners, Secretary to the State Government, Head of Service and Chief of Staff also took turns to express their appreciation for the chance to serve the people of the state.
They described Yero as a God fearing leader who did his best for the state.
