Nyako Surrender To EFCC In N15bn Money Laundering Allegation
Former governor of Adamawa State, Admiral Murtala Nyako was questioned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday over allegation of money laundering running into about N15 billion.
This came following his voluntary return to Nigeria after President Goodluck Jonathan, whom he had blamed his travails in the hands of security and anti-graft agencies on, left office.
The former Chief of Naval Staff reported to the EFCC on Monday after returning from his self-imposed exile on Saturday and was quizzed by the anti-graft agency for about 10 hours, reports Vanguard.
There is no official message yet about the issue by the EFCC.
